About the Virtual Global Trade Show

The Sacramento MBDA Export Center launched its series of Virtual Global Trade Shows, connecting US businesses to new business opportunities from the safety of their own home. In light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the model for sourcing new business opportunities, brokering trade deals, and conducting commercial transactions has shifted to an online platform. This Virtual Global Trade Show enhances the opportunity for minority business enterprises to convene and market their services and products to a global network of buyers.

Each virtual trade show will target a specific industry where business leaders, suppliers, and buyers can meet and conduct new partnerships and business deals within their industry.

Q: Is there a cost to participate in the Virtual Global Trade Show?
A: At the moment, there is no cost associated with the Virtual Global Trade Shows for COVID-19 Medical Supplies & PPE as this is a pilot project put together by the Sacramento MBDA Export Center to serve the global business community during unprecedented times.

Q: Who can participate in the Virtual Global Trade Show?
A: U.S. and foreign suppliers, manufacturers, and brokers are welcome to participate. U.S. buyers including healthcare industry professionals, small businesses, restaurants, public and private entities are welcome to participate in the COVID-19 Medical Supplies & PPE Virtual Global Trade Show.

Q: I represent a foreign company, can I participate as a buyer?
A: Due to the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (50 U.S.C. 4501 et seq.) enacted by Donald Trump, we are unable to invite foreign entities to participate as buyers for the COVID-19 Medical Supplies Virtual Global Trade Show.

Q: Do I qualify to participate as a supplier?
A: Prior to beginning the registration supplier screening form, please review the Supplier Screening Checklist.
