The third annual China International Import Expo (CIIE) was successfully held in Shanghai despite the challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. CIIE took place November 5, 2020 – November 10, 2020, which the Bay Area Council hosted the California Pavilion with the Sacramento MBDA Export Center serving as a sponsor, along with Royal Business Bank, MEBO International, and the Port of Oakland. More than 10 California enterprises displayed their products and services at the world’s largest import expo.
Every day, in the morning (in Shanghai) and late evening (in Sacramento), Sacramento MBDA Export Center staff virtually interacted with the Pavilion consultants and visitors. During the California Pavilion Opening Ceremony, Saori Choulos, International Business Account Manager for the Sacramento MBDA Export Center, provided opening welcome remarks to leaders and key visitors at the event.
